[Nudging Åsa towards the sofa!!!!! Why is that a "you", obviously Siiri needs someone to curl up with because that is nicer when you don't feel good, and Siiri obviously feels horrible.]
[Floweregg what are you dooooiiing? Åsa picks her up and puts her in her lap so she can stroke her, hoping that's what she wants. It means she can't get off from her perch on the edge of the sofa so Siiri has space to spread out, but if it looks like Siiri's trying to get comfortable she'll stand and take Floweregg with her.]
[Unfortunately, Åsa still makes mistakes when reading Siiri's face, and right now she shies away from that look of shock, misreading it as displeasure.]
Um. I don't think... [But Siiri's right there, she should ask, but how can she when Siiri looks so unhappy.] It's best if I sleep in the chair.
[Floweregg has jumped at the look too and is now pressing against Åsa's legs... and Siiri just. What should she say, this went all wrong, and she wants to tell them that no, she would love to have Åsa close and she can cling all that she wants! That she's not sure how well it would work but she's absolutely there to try. That she would really like to...
But then how should she say that? How to help, what if Åsa just really doesn't want?
[It would probably help if Åsa knew what she wanted (she wants cuddles, she does, she just doesn't want to scare Siiri off). Shifting uneasily, she cuddles Floweregg instead while he waits for Siiri to speak for herself and when there's nothing she's only more sure that what she's doing is right.
So instead she rubs Floweregg's ears, and then sets her down next to Siiri.] You should keep Siiri company for me. [After all, Floweregg's much smaller, and so won't take up much space on the sofa. And isn't as clingy. And just doesn't carry the same problems as Åsa cuddling does.]
[Floweregg peers up at Åsa very seriously, and Siiri... well, she doesn't peer up as far as the dog, but she certainly is looking at Åsa with no lesser intensity.]
[How is she meant to read those looks? Åsa plays with her hands for a moment, unable to look at either of them, but then finally nods.] If we have enough space and Siiri doesn't mind.
[After all, if they're on a bed and Siiri's not injured there's no reason not to. Not if Siiri doesn't mind.]
[That kind of direct answer at least is easy enough to give. Even if it's maybe said with too much intensity, but how could she not be intense about something that she wants this much?]
[Siiri speaking up suddenly (and so directly!) makes Åsa look up from her hands, surprised. She looks at her for a moment, and then slowly nods, a twitch of a smile appearing on her lips.] I cling, you know. But if you don't mind...
[Siiri will just nod... raise her hand for a moment as if to reach for Åsa and then drop it, not sure if it would really be wanted, and then just curl up a tiny bit, a motion quickly cut short by the pain, and close her eyes.
Floweregg after a moment of looking forth and back between the two women decides to curl up at Siiri's side.]
[Åsa feels bad, seeing the way that Siiri curls up. Maybe she should have stayed? But she wouldn't want to hurt her more and there's so little space on the sofa...
Leaning forward, she brushes her lips over Siiri's forehead, and tucks the blanket up around her better.] Sleep well. [She murmurs, before standing and leaving Siiri to sleep. She'll curl up on the chair and do her best to get some as well.]
